4th - 5th Grade
At FBC Kaufman, we want our preteens not only to be impacted by God but have a great IMPACT on those around them! Our theme verse is 1 Timothy 4:12 - “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” This verse reminds us that we should be examples of how to live and love others! Preteens have their own dedicated space - The Clubhouse. This is where we go through God’s Big Story, using Orange Curriculum. This focuses on how the Bible tells a complete story Genesis- Revelation and that is that Jesus is the hope of the world!
On Wednesdays, they study what the Bible says about godly values and character. In both these spaces, deep conversations take place that will help them grow in their faith, learn to serve others, and practice living out godly characteristics that will help them prepare for Middle School.
Deep Impact is a once-a-month discipleship opportunity where we “go deep” into God’s word, serve others, and encourage one another in our walk. Deep Impact is on the third Sunday of each month! We have built this preteen ministry to prepare your 4th-6th grader to be strong and ready for the years ahead!
Sunday Mornings - 9:30 a.m.
IMPACT is a preteen ministry that focuses on preparing our 4th & 5th grade students for their next phase of life. They have their own space in The Clubhouse (2nd floor of the BJCB) and study God’s word as it specifically relates to issues they are currently facing. On Sundays, we are currently following the life of Jesus chronologically through the New Testament using the Gospel Project Curriculum.
Wednesday Nights - 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays are amazing in the Clubhouse! We have an energetic team of adult leaders and teen mentors who keep our 4th and 5th graders on their game! There is some competition involved when it comes to learning memory verses, biblical characteristics, and being bold for Jesus! Our preteens are engaged from the beginning to the end of the night. We are actively addressing issues preteens face daily while preparing them for the next step…middle school!
Hot 100 Verses
The HOT 100 Verses are 100 key, life-changing passages that we are committed to teaching kinder - 6th graders. Each month kids are encouraged to memorize a verse in order to hide God’s word in their hearts for a lifetime.
